Purpose

This website gives information about WADDON, a point-of-sale, inventory and VeriFactu invoicing program, and about the associated hardware and maintenance services.

Intellectual property

The texts, logos, design and software are the property of WADDON O.E. or are used with permission. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is not allowed.

Liability

WADDON O.E. aims to keep the information on this site correct and up to date, but is not liable for any errors or omissions it may contain, nor for the use made of it. The information about the VeriFactu rules is for guidance only and does not replace tax advice.

Applicable law

This notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Gandía, unless the law provides another jurisdiction.

What data we process and what for

• Contact form: name, phone or email and the message, in order to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent when sending it.
• Customers: contact, tax and billing data, in order to provide the contracted service and issue the invoices. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations.
• Payments: payments are handled through Stripe. WADDON O.E. does not store your full card details.

Data belonging to your own customers

When you store data about your own customers in WADDON, you are the controller of that data and WADDON O.E. acts as processor, under the processing agreement signed on contracting.

How long we keep it

Contact data, until your enquiry is resolved and for one month at most after it is resolved. Customer data, for as long as the contractual relationship lasts and, after that, for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial rules.

Who it is shared with

We do not pass data to third parties except where the law requires it, such as sending invoicing records to the AEAT. We use providers that process data on our behalf (server hosting and payment gateway), with whom we have the corresponding contracts signed. Today there are two: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which hosts our server, and Supabase, which hosts the database and the backups in Stockholm (Sweden). The infrastructure is therefore within the European Union. Supabase Inc. is based in the United States, so occasional support access from outside the Union cannot be ruled out; it is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses. If another provider is added in the future, it will be stated here.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@waddon.es, giving your name and attaching a document that identifies you. If you believe they have not been properly attended to, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookie policy

This website does not use analytics, advertising or social network cookies, and includes no third-party services that install them.

Only technical cookies strictly necessary for the site to work could be used; under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE these do not require consent. That is why no cookie banner is shown.

If other kinds of cookies are added in future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be asked before installing them.

On your first visit an informative notice explains exactly this. So that it is not repeated on every page, closing it stores a mark in your browser’s local storage (waddon_aviso_leido). That is the only thing this site stores on your device: it identifies nobody, it is never sent to any server, and it disappears when you clear your browser data.

Terms of service

1. Parties and purpose

These terms govern the contracting of WADDON between WADDON O.E. and the client, acting as a company or self-employed professional. They cover the licence to use the program, the supply of the hardware and the maintenance service.

2. Prices

All prices are shown without IVA, which will be added on the invoice at the rate in force.

• Software licence: 350 €, one-off payment.
• Hardware: 899 € for the complete POS in its standard setup, one-off payment. If the client needs another setup, the price is agreed in writing before contracting.
• Maintenance: 50 € a month.

3. Payment

Payments are made through Stripe. The maintenance fee is charged monthly in advance, on the 1st of each month. Installation does not generate a fee in the month it takes place: the first charge is on the 1st of the following month.

4. Maintenance

Includes remote program updates, encrypted and verified backups, monitoring of the state of the hardware, and attention to questions and incidents. The client may cancel at any time by giving written notice: there is no minimum term and no minimum notice period. The month in which notice is given is the last month paid. On cancellation we hand over a copy of ALL their invoices and tell them in writing the number of the last one issued, and then remove their data from our systems, so they can continue the numbering on their own. The software licence is a one-off payment and is not refunded.

5. Operating requirements

The terminal needs an internet connection to issue receipts and invoices. The connection is the client’s responsibility.

6. The VeriFactu rules

WADDON O.E., as the manufacturer of the invoicing software system, issues a declaración responsable for each version of the program in accordance with the rules in force. The client is responsible for the content of their invoices and for meeting their tax obligations.

7. Hardware warranty

The hardware carries a one-year warranty from delivery, covering manufacturing defects and failures under normal use: it is repaired or replaced. It does not cover damage from knocks, liquids, power surges, misuse or accidents, even accidental ones, nor wear of consumables.

8. Returns and cancellation

As this is contracting between companies or professionals, the right of withdrawal provided for consumers does not apply. Even so, we refund what has been charged in three cases: if the hardware arrives faulty or does not work from day one and cannot be replaced; if we fail to get the system running through our own fault; and if an amount has been charged in error or twice. Outside those cases, amounts already paid are not refunded, including the current month.

9. Data protection

Data processing is governed by the privacy policy and by the data processing agreement.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. The parties submit to the courts of Gandía.
